Job Description

The Associate Regional Sales Manager (ARSM) is Sunny Sky Products primary Sales Representation responsible for qualifying sales opportunities, customer retention, developing sales pipeline, managing the sales cycle and achieving revenue goals, assisting with the development and execution of the company’s strategies for acquiring net-new customers, expanding the presence within the existing customer base and communicating sales activity and progress to the Regional Sales Manager. The ARSM manages all sales activities into accounts within a geographically-defined territory.

The ARSM will be responsible for developing account plans to further penetrate and extend the reach of the Sunny Sky Products as an enterprise-wide solution within the assigned base of existing customers and to generate and close new business opportunities.

Major Job Functions
  • Call on assigned local and regional convenience store channel operators
  • Work with assigned brokers
  • Call on existing distributors and source new distributor base
  • Local support for national accounts
  • Area trade show support
  • Identifies, qualifies and close new customer sales opportunities to generate sales revenues that meet or exceed assigned goals
  • Develops strategic account plans for customer in their assigned territory
  • Conducts introductory and high-level presentations including the demonstration of Sunny Sky Products solution (s)
  • Dedicates the appropriate amount of time in face-to-face and/or direct communication with customers and prospects
  • Forecasts business and sales pipeline as required, updating management on the status of all prospects, in-process sales cycles and potential revenue
  • Conducts continuous prospecting activities and build a sales pipeline sufficient to support achievement of sales revenue goals
  • Works with accounts in planning and communication through the successful execution of the sales cycle
  • Delivers timely technical and fact-based information to create long-term, on-going business relationships and set the stage for future opportunities
  • Identifies and qualifies end-user opportunities
  • Travels throughout assigned territory and beyond, as required
  • Meet and exceed direct sales goals within assigned geographic territory
  • Manage all aspects of the sales process including lead generation, qualification, evaluation, close and account care
  • Develop and manage sales pipeline, prospect and assess sales potential with the ability to move a large number of transactions simultaneously through the sales pipeline
  • Manage and track customer and transactional information into web-based system; logging all sales activity within the established processes; keeping customer account current and accurate
  • Coordinate resources throughout the sales cycle, including product support and sales engineering
  • Provide product demonstration to prospects
  • Work effectively within a team environment to maximize revenue potential and ensure customer success
  • Other related duties as assigned
Ideal Requirements
  • BA/BS degree a plus
  • Dispensed Beverage industry experience
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting and/or exceeding sales performance metrics: i.e., quotas, pipeline, forecast accuracy, etc.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in managing complex sales cycles typically defined as six months or longer with multiple stakeholders, decision-makers and influencers at multiple levels
  • Track record of success by consistently exceeding performance metrics
  • Experience (basic or advanced) with virtual meeting and presentation tools
  • Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills especially in the ability to present concepts and articulate business value
  • Intermediate level of MS office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Previous experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM.
  • Display effective interpersonal skills sufficient to build positive, productive, and effective professional working relationships
  • Extensive travel of 50% plus
