Job Description

The Financial Analyst position requires a strong accounting background, detailed oriented, analytical mindset and the ability to prioritize projects.  The Financial Analyst candidate should be a self-starter who is able to analyze problems and address process gaps by implementing best practices as it related to month-end close, financial reporting and financial analysis.  The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills and the ability to interact across all levels of the organization, must be adaptable, and process/results oriented.  The Financial Analyst is an integral part of the accounting team. This position will report directly to the Company’s Corporate Controller.

Major Job Functions
  • Assist with month-end closing duties, accruals, and general ledger and inter company account reconciliations.
  • Cash Forecasting
  • Fixed Asset Management
  • Sales Tax Returns
  • Prepare weekly reports for management (Accounts Receivable, Sales Activity, Inventory Turns)
  • Prepare monthly reports for management (Budget vs. Actual) and financial analysis
  • Assist with external audits
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Education and Experience
  • 2+ years of public accounting and/or experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, CPA a Plus
  • Advanced Excel Skills and Microsoft Products
