GoodWest Industries is a leading aseptic beverage manufacturer located in Douglassville, PA. We specialize in processing shelf-stable dairy, coffee beverages and coffee creamers. Our company is rapidly growing and is seeking passionate people to join our team. The role of the Packaging Operator is essential to our operation; some job duties include, but are not limited to:
Job Duties:
- Packaging finished bagged product into boxes
- Loading box maker, tape sealer and all other associated equipment
- Verify and monitoring packaging equipment and product labeling
- Transporting finished product and packaging supplies
- Utilizing manual and electric hand jacks
- Maintaining clean working area
- Responsible for Food Safety and cGMP’s
- And other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be able to safely lift 50lbs.
- Ability to operate / understand computer systems and machinery
- Knowledgeable in basic mathematics
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Good record keeping
- Food Handling/Manufacturing Experience
Experience:
- Manufacturing: 3 years (Preferred)
Preferred, but not required skills:
- Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems
- Forklift operator
- HACCP/SQF Experience
Job Type:
Full-time
Shift Availability:
- Day Shift: 3:00am – 3:30pm (3) days a week plus every other Saturday
- Night Shift: 3:00pm-3:30am (3) days a week plus every other Saturday
Salary:
$17.00 – $18.00 per hour with lots of room to grow!
