Here are a few steps that operators can take to ensure the safety of the self-serve beverage stations.
1. Place fountain guards on self-serve dispensed machines.
2. Offer wipes for dispensed machines with push buttons or touch screens.
3. Implement touchless components for lids/straws/cups for customers such as the push-n-go single lid dispenser.
4. Sanitize and clean equipment frequently and with high visibility as it signals that the operator is protecting consumers health.
Tip: Touchless Lever systems in fountain and bubbler machines are preferred by customers because they are not having to touch any part of the machine.
